Queer Prom

Experience an all ages queer prom in a safe and loving environment on April 24th, 2026 from 5-10 PM in collaboration with 100 Acre Wood.

In honor of Trans Day of Visibility, and in partnership with Rest & Resistance, a gallery hosted by the Radiator Collective, we invite you to join us for an evening recreating the prom of your dreams. Come as you are, bring your loved ones and celebrate with us in style! All ages are welcome.

This isn’t just a party; it’s a fundraiser! Tickets and on-site donations will go directly to the Picton Library’s Discover YOUth! program to fund their food for the entire year. Any additional funds will support local 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations and charities. Cash or e-transfer only.
There will be a DJ, dance floor, and a photo booth for all your cheesy prom photos.

Get ready at home or on-site: hair and makeup appointments are available as a first come first serve basis. Here we’ll have a quieter, sensory friendly space with activities for all ages. Formal prom wear will also be available at no cost. Wear it for the night or take it home!

Build a flower crown or corsage, support our local vendors, or get your tarot cards read.

Hungry? We’ll have food and cake (from Half Kanga) available to fuel your pride. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available via cash or e-transfer.

The first hour (from 5-6 PM) will be designated as a sensory and disability friendly time where folks will be asked to wear a mask indoors. The disco ball and lights will be off or less intense. Masks will be available on site as well as more information.
